Testamento del Porco is a welcoming restaurant run by Romano Rossi, a professional sommelier who considers the restaurant’s main ingredients to be courtesy and cordiality. The cuisine is typical and ranges from traditional local dishes to regional ones, sometimes prepared using the original recipes (pumpkin-filled cappellacci, tagliatelle flan, salama da sugo and mashed potato, salama da sugo with fig jam and Bondeno melon), sometimes reinterpreted in a more innovative key (pumpkin-filled cappellacci with a hint of cuttlefish). Customers should try one of the excellent desserts that include warm Torta Tenerina (baked chocolate pudding) served with cream. The restaurant also offers a wide range of Traditional Balsamic Vinegars of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Without forgetting that everything is “seasoned” with an atmosphere that invites customers to savour and enjoy the conviviality and consummate artistry of the owner in helping his customers discover a colourful melting pot of flavours, fragrances and delicacies that really are music to their ears… and palates. <<<
