Inside an old farmhouse, in a rustic atmosphere, amid a labyrinth of small rooms the Ristorante Parma Rotta serves a cuisine whose maximum expression lies in the wood-fire barbecuing of quality meats (T-bone steak, chops, lamb, pork, chicken) and the spit roasting of shin of pork, goose thighs and assorted pork spare rib, loin, sausage and liver kebabs. It also serves dishes that express the typical food culture of Parma, with local products such as ham, culatello, boiled shoulder ham, salami and Parmesan cheese. Seasonal dishes include Porcini mushrooms, truffles, asparagus and artichokes. All pasta is homemade with choices ranging from chard-filled tortelli to cappelletti filled with braised meat, tagliatelle and pappardelle. A special mention should go to our confectionery choices, including our own chocolate production. In the summer, meals are served under a solid wood beamed pergola. <<<
